With the Super Kamiokande detector, scientists can use the ice

With the Super Kamiokande detector, scientists can use the ice to record an image of the ice cube, and then get an idea of what the temperature and pressure on the top of the detector are like. That can be useful to know about things like the origin of the sun. And the detectors can also provide some insights into the origin of galaxies.

As a first step, they'll use the super-massive black hole in the center of the universe, the Large Magellanic Cloud, and the Large Magellanic Cloud to measure the gravitational force exerted on it.

They've also used this data to build a computer that can read the data and calculate the distances between the stars. In theory, they might be able to work out how much a star is moving at once.

The project is funded by an international project called the National Science Foundation.Sarim Zaman/Associated Press
