"While you are still in control of your vehicle, you may not see OnStar on the dashboard, but you will see an online dashboard when you receive your vehicle from the dealership," said Mike H. Rolfe, a senior vice president at GM who is also co-founder and chief financial officer of OnStar Crisis. "If you have a fully connected car, you may see InStar help available online from the dealer. For those who are on a limited warranty, you can connect to InStar on your car's GPS or Bluetooth device to access InStar services."

OnStar Crisis Assist does not work for older vehicles, but it does work for new owners, and even for those who have already activated on InStar. For more information about your vehicle's OnStar service and how to activate it for a discounted charge, check out the GM website.

As the grid is getting more and more congested and a large number of cars in Europe are already under way, there is no guarantee that OnStar will be fully operational for some time to come, but the company is willing to help if you live in a flooded area. As for the price: $3,000 plus a $10,000 InStar fee. It's $15 for the first 12 months of service, then $15 for a second year. The next year, you get the service for only $3,000 after you have activated on InStar. Once your next car can be purchased, OnStar will add new services to the system, including additional monitoring and repairs for your vehicle in some areas.

As you can see from the above photo, the cost and the price are not the only things To be sure, as the grid is still mostly flooded, there are a few additional things to consider. First off, there are not many other vehicles that can help the grid, and the system is not working. The grid is still flooded, so what do you do?
