While the change was welcomed by some, it wasn't enough to sway other users. Twitter user John S. said that the privacy settings would be a "significant issue" for his account, despite being the only one with an Origin account.

"I would be shocked if people had to do this to see if it was okay to share their real name," he said. "It will probably be a lot harder for people to get my real name on the Origin account, but it is an option."

"I'll probably just wait for it to happen."

For the third week in a row, the Origin privacy settings were not being updated as often or as much as they should have.
