"What we did really was a series of experiments and experiments with things that, I think, we were really surprised about," says Musk. "We went back in and put things together at the same time, thinking we wanted to get a really good idea of what we wanted to do, and what we wanted to get and then we went back and forth and came up with a lot of things. We're going to have to do some other stuff on that, but the thing that really got us excited was the idea that we were going to make an underground platform that can be used to take cargo to the ground. It's a great concept that's been there for many years, and for NASA, it's got a lot of great things going on, and for us it was a great idea."

The result: A fully operational rocket with a total payload capacity of 4,000 pounds, and an impressive payload capacity of 6,000 pounds. The company believes that it can reach a mission capacity of 6,000 pounds, if it can find enough people to carry it. It's also expected to be able to deliver cargo to the ground, if the company can find enough people to carry cargo.

"You're essentially giving a giant rocket the capacity to travel to space and then you're making sure that everything is ready to go," says Musk. "And if you're able to do that, that's good."

The Boring Company is also working on a smaller version of the space station, to be built from leftover parts. "We hope that by the time we complete it, we will have that kind of space station that we know can hold a lot more people," says Musk. "There are other places that we can build that can hold more people, but this one is going to be a lot of fun to do, and that's going to be a lot of people that actually have a meaningful connection with SpaceX, and for them, that's good."

"We're actually going to be doing two launch vehicles," says Musk, a long-time SpaceX customer. "We have this massive vehicle with all the different systems that you can fit in it that it can carry."

"It's going to be very cool," says Musk of the concept. "And so we're going to be doing other things on that that will be very cool, and that's going to be a lot of fun."
