VSTS is split into three separate components, each with its own unique approach to how tools should work.
The first component is a PowerShell service, which handles everything from building a web application to testing a web app to deploying it from the cloud. It's the third in the division to be split into four different services, each offering different features and functionality.
The two-part service, VSTS_Deploy, is designed to help developers make use of the VSTS APIs to build custom tools on top of the VSTS infrastructure. A second component is a PowerShell service, for testing, which is designed to be similar to the VSTS service by providing the ability to integrate other PowerShell services into the tooling and development. The third component is a VSTS server, which is designed to be similar to the VSTS service by providing the ability to integrate other PowerShell services into the tooling and development.
For more information on the integration of both services into VSTS, see this blog post by Microsoft . Microsoft is in the middle of a major overhaul in the VSTS ecosystem, and the new Azure DevOps service is one of the most important changes in the ecosystem.
The rest of the Azure DevOps service division includes other tools and services. For example, the PowerShell service in the VSTS office suite currently has all of the tools listed on the VSTS Office 365 service, but needs to support a new service called VSTS. The VSTS service in Excel has a different version of the XLSX service.
I've been trying to figure out a little bit of information about these services, so here is mine.
VSTS is a part of the Azure DevOps platform that was created in 2012 by Microsoft with the goal of making PowerShell tools that developers can benefit from as well as providing tools that developers can use to build their own tools, services and applications, such as a REST client.
In 2012, VSTS started the development of a new VSTS-based application called Postgres.
Postgres is a set of VSTS-aware applications that provide a simple way for developers to build an application with VSTS.
The postgres backend contains many of the following services:
The VSTS service for the VSTS service in Excel
The VSTS service for the VSTS service in Excel
