The Windows Update and Update Tuesday (USPOD) updates are both
The Windows Update and Update Tuesday (USPOD) updates are both rolled back and can be installed on multiple PCs. This means that the Windows Update and Update Tuesday is not an absolute replacement; it's an alternate way to get things done. The Update Tuesday features are also available on Windows 7 Ultimate or Windows 8.1 as well as Windows 10 Home Premium, both of which have been tested by users.
Microsoft has made clear that it is targeting users with the Windows Update and Update Tuesday updates, not just those from older versions of Windows. A Windows 7 Ultimate update that has been rolling back to Windows 8.1 is now not available to install on a user's PC. In fact, most of these updates are still available, not just those from Windows 7 and 8, and are included in the Microsoft Update and Update Tuesday package.
So what does the new version of Windows for Mac look like? The new version of Windows for Mac is an update for Windows 8.1. It's not new to Microsoft and has been released publicly for a while now. The initial release of Windows 8.1 came with Windows 8.1 Update 2.16.6.1, the latest update for Windows 8.1. This update includes Windows Update 2.16.7 and Windows 8.1 Update.
Windows Update 2.16.7 introduces the 'New App' and 'New Windows' sections. The new Windows 8.1 app will provide information on Windows 10 Home Premium, and other updates for Windows 8 and Windows 10 Home Premium. There are also a few additional sections that are not included in the update:
'The new Windows 10 Home Premium' section introduces the ability for all consumers to use Windows 10 Home Premium. It also introduces a new option for pre-installed apps.
'The new Windows 10 Home Premium' section introduces the option to install additional apps from the 'New app' folder on Windows 10 Home Premium. This option is available to users whose Windows 10 Home Premium was not already installed in a previous version of Windows 8 or Windows 10 Home Premium.
Windows 10 Home Premium is available for download, but the installer does not provide additional information about this new version. This is because it is not the latest version. The update for Windows 10 Home Premium is available for download through Windows Update.
The new version of Windows 8.1 includes a new 'New app' section called 'Start Menu,' which includes the new Windows 10 Home Premium settings and 'New App' section.
