The Soyuz spacecraft, which NASA hopes to launch by the end of March, will be tasked with sending back data that will help scientists better understand how to handle hazardous conditions on Earth.

"It will help us understand what's happening in space, and we can make some important discoveries," said Kononenko. "In the future we'll be able to send back any data we need, and we'll have to find ways to do it more efficiently."An American military jet crashed over the Baltic Sea this week after it crashed after being under attack by a Russian fighter jet, Russian Defence Ministry spokesman Major General Igor Konashenkov said on Wednesday.

The jet was carrying eight F-16 fighter jets and four F-18 fighters as well as a C-130G jet, Konashenkov said.

Russia has claimed responsibility for the crash, which occurred over the Baltic Sea, where it has been conducting air strikes on allied forces.

The Russian defense ministry said on Monday that it had identified an unidentified flight and found it on its radar.

The jet was being repaired by the Russian Air Force, Konashenkov said.

This is the second time that two Russian aircraft have crashed in the Baltic Sea this year. The first one took off from Moscow on July 20 and crashed after being shot down by a Russian jet while it was flying over the Baltic Sea, Russia's state news agency, Kommersant, reported.FORT WORTH, Texas - A father said he was shocked to learn he was caught on video getting shot in the face and face with a gun Sunday night.

The video shows a man firing a gun across the room at a house in the 4100 block of North East E. Highway, the Fort Worth Star-Telegram reports.

The man fired one shot of a gun from the back of the head and one shot from the hip, according to the news outlet.

The man then tried to run, but the shot bounced off of his head and hit a fence, according to the Star-Telegram. The man was knocked unconscious.

The man was found with a gunshot wound to the face and one wound to the head.
