The Pulse HR can't be considered an exact replacement for
The Pulse HR can't be considered an exact replacement for the Pulse HR's heart rate monitor, but the company has some good ideas to improve on the Pulse HR's heart rate monitor. This is especially important in the case of the Pulse HR's "bump" display which is slightly tilted to the left due to the lower profile. On the other hand, some of the lower profile angles make it easier to see the heart rate of a person.
The Pulse HR's top-of-the-line display and small black, white and yellow buttons on the center panel provide some of the best detail. The Pulse HR's panel is made up of a thin, square shape similar to Apple's own Touch ID trackers, with small details such as a blue circle and a square and a yellow center button. It also has a large circular button on the left side that you can press to change the profile of the monitor. The buttons also work like a clock to help you keep track of your activity.
The design is also a little strange, with the Pulse HR's two large curved buttons, which can only be seen via a tiny, rectangular, rectangular display. I had to press and hold one of the buttons a little too hard to find the other. The Pulse HR has some pretty neat motion controls on the bottom panel where you can toggle between different trackers.
The Pulse HR's power button is also a nice touch, but it's just a small bump that makes it hard to find. The Pulse HR has a 6V battery, which is about 4 hours of battery life and can be replaced with a 5V battery.
The Pulse HR comes with a Bluetooth 4.0 module, which is pretty handy for those who want to use Bluetooth headphones, but the battery and charging times still run longer than most fitness trackers. The Pulse HR comes with a 1.4GHz dual band band radio and comes with a 2.3GHz 3G modem. I'm pretty sure that's not much of a difference, but I would guess that it's not much more than 1.2W of power.
As I mentioned in the beginning of the review, the Pulse HR is not the best of the fitness trackers out there. The only one that isn't pretty is the One, which has a slightly lower profile than the Pulse HR. This might be because the Pulse HR has a narrower headband and has a smaller size. But you need to be able to use a bigger number than that
