The only exception to this restriction is a "developer certificate

The only exception to this restriction is a "developer certificate that the app and application developers had previously provided to them to help them determine the correct application for the particular task," the statement said.

The developer certificate is typically used for the iOS version of the app, so the company's apps can now be considered "applicable to the iOS operating system" when looking up the iOS version of the application, as it existed prior to this time.

Despite this, the two companies have remained mum regarding how exactly the developer certificate was removed. In May, Apple admitted it only used the developer certificate to "associate" to Facebook's apps, which was the primary reason behind the App Store's removal.

This doesn't seem to have affected Facebook's app store apps at all, however. The company is now using only the developer certificate, which it believes will help them to avoid Apple's fate. It is, however, unclear which app developer certificates were used, and Facebook did not respond to multiple requests for comment.

Facebook was quick to point out that it is using the developer certificates for its own internal apps, but that's also to be expected. The company has an app store on its website. The second chapter of the second part of the series, The Hidden Cave, is out now on PS Vita and Xbox One.

Update: An earlier version of this story said that The Hidden Cave was only available on the PlayStation Vita, but the story here is a bit different. The original story was that the cave was destroyed by the Devil and its minions, but that they have been restored, and there are still people in the cave, but there are no creatures in the caves anymore.
