The number of people using online services has jumped from 2.5 million in 2012 to 3.6 million in 2012, which T-Mobile said "has made the Internet a better and more reliable way for everyone."

The number of Americans using Internet services by mobile phone has also soared, as has the percentage of people using them on traditional networks. T-Mobile reported 2.1 million US phone sales in March, up 0.3 percent from the same period a year ago.

T-Mobile said it will offer two home Internet service options in the coming months: "Lite Internet and WiFi," which will be offered starting this fall and will cost $15 a month over Wi-Fi, and "Home Wi-Fi and Wi-Fi 2."

T-Mobile said that "Home Wi-Fi and Wi-Fi 2" will also be available in markets with larger populations, such as New York City, where T-Mobile launched its network in February.

One of those markets will be the Dallas area, where T-Mobile said it plans to launch "mobile Internet service for residents and their families in Dallas, Texas."

T-Mobile said that it plans "all of the service to be available to consumers in Dallas, Texas for the next six months, beginning with the launch of Home Wi-Fi for residents and families in September 2016."

T-Mobile has said its plan is to offer home Internet and WiFi service for more than a year, providing the option for many of today's most vulnerable, including the underserved and underpaid.

T-Mobile said that it plans to add in-home Internet service plans to a select group of customers and plan to expand the service to existing customers in all 50 states and the District of Columbia.

The company announced the expansion of its LTE network in mid-March and that plans to expand for a year to 11 states.

The news comes on the heels of a federal court ruling in July that blocked the sale of a T-Mobile U-verse network in San Jose, California, allowing the company to sell the network to Verizon. The following video, a few days after an attack on the New York Stock Exchange, is a reminder of the danger of the Internet. It shows the devastation that can ensue if people don't understand the dangers of a system that has become an enemy of the Internet.
