The new firmware update comes at a time when HDR10+
The new firmware update comes at a time when HDR10+ is taking over the HDR standard. Samsung has also pushed the HDR10+ standard to all their TVs. In a press release, the company says they will continue to support HDR10+ and will add support for HDR10+ to Sony's PlayStation 4 and Xbox One.
In April, the company announced that the company plans to expand the HDR10+ standard to Sony's PS4, Xbox One, and PC. In January, the company added the ability to watch movie trailers on HDR10+ and "enhancements" it will be able to offer in HDR10+, according to a press release. The following is a list of all of the official releases that have been announced from the North American PlayStation 4 and Xbox One as of August 23, 2014.
