The Maya, who have been known as the "Gods of the Desert," are a group of people who came from a desert nation about 12,000 years ago. It is likely that their ancestors lived in a region called the Chacoa of Central America where the Maya lived from 2,500 to 13,000 years ago, when they first settled in the area, said Dr. Eric Nissen of the University of California San Diego. Scientists have long believed that the Chacoa is one of the largest human settlements throughout the world. But new research shows that the Maya were not living in a desert, but instead in a small, open, land region known as the El Chacoa.

The Maya people who built the Chacoa were the only group in Central America known to have been alive for more than 100,000 years. They created the name Chacoa, or "the people of the people," after the famous figure of Arar, who was the first to cross the border into Central America, the researchers said. The Chacoa were called the "El Chacoa people" because they were the only people in Central America who knew to look at the sky and the rain clouds.

The Chacoa were said to have used a variety of tools, including the sharpened bow and a set of sharp knives. They had no tools, the researchers said, and were more like a small, humanoid population. In recent years, they used fire pits, and a stone tool known as a hammer. In the past, the Chacoa used their tools for the first time in this region after being displaced by human settlements in the late 1800s, the researchers said. But since then, the Maya have moved forward with their civilization and have started to use fire-making tools, they said.

The Chacoa have been known since the Chacoa came into the world, said Dr. Nissen. In the last 20 years, they have built thousands of structures, some of which are on buildings and others on the road, and they have built a large number of homes. The Chacoa have also been known to eat, drink, sleep and eat small animals and plants that they have been feeding on. The Chacoa's behavior is unusual in their environment’ because the Chacoa are very large and their diet is different than those of humans.
