The launch will bring all seven Dragon spacecraft into the International Space Station on a single rocket for the first time since 2012, and is expected to return the spacecraft to Earth orbit by the end of 2013.

Just like its last two Dragon launches – in 2012 and 2013 – the Dragon will be part of the International Space Station's permanent robotic arm, which is due to be built over the coming months.

On Saturday, NASA's Orion capsule made its first-ever mission, returning from a mission to Mars in 2010. During its visit to the station, NASA plans to use a robotic arm to lift the Dragon to a lower orbit. The Dragon will then return to Earth for a second visit to the International Space Station on another stage.

"The crew module for NASA's Space Launch System (SLS) has been upgraded and will be a complete upgrade to the original Dragon spacecraft that launched the first manned mission to the ISS," NASA said in a statement.TAMPA, Fla. — A Florida man who is serving life in prison for a deadly shooting at a Florida nightclub last May has been allowed to return home after an extended period.

Trenton Jones, 36, of Miami-Dade, was convicted of first-degree murder and aggravated assault in the Feb. 7, 2017, shooting of 32-year-old James Holmes.

Jones is one of two defendants charged with first-degree murder in the Nov. 6, 2016, shooting. The other was accused of second-degree murder.

Jones was convicted of first-degree capital murder in the Sept. 13, 2015, shooting of 25-year-old Timothy Brown.

Jones faces up to life in prison without the possibility of parole in Florida.

Jones said he was not aware of his sentence until a friend contacted him, saying he was serving a life sentence.

"I haven't been able to talk to my family for months," he said.

Jones returned to the United States last month after serving four years in prison for a separate murder.

A Facebook message posted by the victim's boyfriend, who had just returned from a trip to South Africa, said Jones returned to the United States with the message, which read, "I'm sorry for the loss of my brother and a friend and all my family."
