The invitation also highlights Apple's efforts for the future of video. A February 2013 email from Apple's head of technology, Steven Zaku, said: "Apple is working on an exciting video-to-video solution. This is one of the most exciting features on our roadmap. We're working hard to make it easier and faster for users worldwide to watch their favorite video content," Zaku wrote.
Apple and its video partners will be launching their next-generation devices on March 17 for the first time. The new models will ship in March of this year, with a single Apple TV.A young woman from South Korea's Yonsei province was shot dead after she tried to flee after getting drunk on drugs near a bus.
Police said the victim, who is 21, was attacked by a group of four teenagers in Seoul's Kanto district on August 24. The teens were allegedly trying to break into her car while she was driving to a school in the city of Seoul. The driver of the car was shot dead by the suspects.
In her statement, the woman said the gang was trying to "beat her up." She explained that when she got drunk she began to walk and hit her head on the back. The group of teenagers then started to get drunk.
"I heard shots and I ran away. When I got back I saw four girls running around. I ran to my car and I saw four boys. One of them grabbed me and he started pointing my gun, which was pointed through the window. I was running, but I couldn't get out," she said.
The victims were treated for injuries, and police said they were taken to the hospital. They weren't sure why the teenagers were shooting at her.
