"The DualShock 3 will feature a more natural, streamlined shape, and I don't believe the PS4 will change that," I was told by Sony on the release day. So, if your PS4 is a little bit too far behind, you won't have to worry about having to use the DualShock 4 to play any games.

For what it's worth, the new firmware will be compatible with most devices as long as they're rooted or have Microsoft Office installed. "We plan to support the PS4 Remote Play feature in future, so if you do decide to use it, I have no plan to change it," a Sony spokesperson told me.

The update will come at a cost, in part, of the PlayStation 3 for its power consumption. As you can see above, you'll be able to use PSN and PlayStation Camera and control the DualShock 4 remotely.

The biggest reason Sony hasn't officially announced these features yet is the fact that they're all coming at the same time—the new firmware is just the beginning for Sony's wireless network. I can't say enough good things about the upcoming PS4 update for sure that its feature set is truly "out there" and that it's already been rolled out to a wide audience. For example, I have a feeling that Sony will also roll out a new PSN app to allow you to play PS4 games in person.

So what are you waiting for? Let me know your thoughts in the comments below. The European Council on Sunday adopted a resolution that calls on the European Union to take action in the face of anti-immigration protests in the Netherlands.

The document called for a ban on all migration, including illegal immigration, from any country in the bloc and said the bloc's political and legal structures could be weakened, including by a "system of de facto police" and a "criminal system".
