The DualScreen also doubles as a rear camera and microphone, which you can use to take an aerial photograph. LG also adds a 2MP camera on the back and a 5MP rear camera on the front. The dual-camera setup is basically standard for the latest Galaxy smartphones, and as you can see from the rear and front, it's actually quite simple to switch it up.
On the inside of the device, the LCD display is a fairly standard, 5MP 2160x1440, 1,920x1,560 pixels, and the rear camera is a 5-megapixel main shooter. The front camera is only about 1.8MP and in fact the V50 has a f/3.5 zoom (which we'd expected from such a small smartphone) so you really don't need to use it for aerial photography.
The V50's LCD display is not only good, but also good enough to stand out from the crowd. The rear camera has some nice new features, for example a new built-in USB-C port, and a new wireless charging port for the V50's microSD card. You can also use the V50's Wi-Fi charging cable on the side as well.
The USB-C charger is a lot like what we've seen on phones like the Moto X, and it's pretty basic, since it doesn't need to be recharged for a full charge. The USB-C cable's a bit larger than the actual 5.5mm USB-C port on the current model and it's a little small for a smartphone like the V50, but it's not terribly big as a charger, so you'll need to plug it in and go and recharge.
The rear camera is pretty standard, and it comes with a 4K Super AMOLED sensor. It's a bit more expensive than the Moto X that you'll find on the current model, and the V50 doesn't have a built-in battery that you'll need to carry around.
While the rear camera is standard for the Samsung Galaxy S3, it really is just a standard for the V50. As you'd expect, the V50 has a lot of features to match up to your device's specifications, and so you want to really get used to the V50's capabilities. The V50 also comes with the usual LG camera app and Quick Charge 2.0 which is really handy for getting to know the app and settings and making the most out of it.
