The cars will be based at the team's headquarters in Barcelona, Spain, so that they're not just a big-time car racing team that comes from one of America's top companies, but one that can do things like make sure there's enough power to run the cars for short periods of time. For example, Formula E-spec cars can be used on the world's longest trails, but they can also be used for long distance races. That's because cars are powered by lithium-ion batteries, which are the same kinds as standard lithium-ion batteries in the car—but not as much as standard lithium-ion batteries that are used for power transmission or battery charging.
The cars will be made in Spain with a single team of engineers, from the team's engineering division, and will run on the same chassis, but the team will be based in Barcelona. The team will be able to produce the cars by themselves, though there will still be a team of team members to be working on them—and there will be other powertrain team members too.
The cars will have a single engine that runs on lithium-ion, which is something that's been around for years for EVs. But the team will be using custom-made engines.
"The teams will be able to make the cars themselves, but they won't be able to control them," said Jorge Barrera, the team's designer. "We'll be able to get a better idea of the power output. We'll have a control unit that will give us different things to do."
The cars will have a custom-made powertrain that can be controlled by the team, while an electric motor that will be mounted on the car will charge the batteries. But the team will also have control of all power in the car without being connected to a charger. The team will use a small battery charger, which is an old-fashioned battery, and use a lithium-ion charger to power the batteries. That's all.
The car will be powered by a single-seater, a type of high-performance electric vehicle. The team will be using a single-seater engine, but with a double helical propeller that can be powered by a single battery. The team will also be using a single-seater car for their test sessions.
