Smith-Guzman suggested that the growths may have been more common

Smith-Guzman suggested that the growths may have been more common in the early part of these early years, when they were much more common. They might have been more likely to have a similar condition after the end of the first ice age, when the average man's body weight started declining.

The findings may help explain why some people have so much extra-vital hearing in their ear canals, and more research is needed to understand how they got there. For example, some people also seem to be able to tolerate a warmer, warmer place in the water than other people, and some people may be able to live in very cold climates if they're able to keep their ears protected, Smith-Guzman said.

The findings shed light on the question of whether humans were at war with other species. Some scientists have speculated that they were. But Smith-Guzman said that's not the case.

"I do think that's the case," Smith-Guzman said. "It's not as if they didn't know it was happening."

Smith-Guzman said that with the discovery, the researchers hope to see more of the same, rather than just a relatively few.

"We hope to see that there's a lot more going on now, not just in the field," he said.

The researchers also believe that the development of the ear canals may have been part of the reason why some people have so much extra-vital hearing in their ear canals.

While the researchers don't yet have a clear explanation for why some people may have the condition, the finding is surprising, said Smith-Guzman. He said that it may be that it's all from the environment and maybe not so much the other way around.
