Since then, the game has received a lot of criticism for its poor reception, and it seems that the team behind the game hasn't been getting the best of things, either. After releasing in 2008, Serious Sam has been on a very slow, but steady pace, and now, it is taking quite a bit of time for it to make it to the top of the PC and Xbox 360 charts.

In a way, Croteam's efforts were a sign that Serious Sam was taking a break from the heavy PC gaming of the past, and was making a serious effort to make a better alternative. It's certainly not a perfect game, but it is a fun little game that lets you play as a high school kid with a sword and a gun.

In any case, this is not the first time that Croteam has been working on the new game. They have also announced the release of the first full-length story in their history. This one will be available in a few weeks. There has been no news on the studio's plans for the sequel, however—and since Croteam's latest trailer will be out in time to release on Steam, it's hard to tell what they will be focusing on.

As for the other side, the next big game is not yet in development. The first game released in 2010 was a shooter called Call of Duty: Black Ops II (also known as Black Ops III), but it was never built on its own, and only appeared once in the entire Call of Duty series. Now, Croteam's next game is a shooter called Call of Duty: Modern Warfare Remastered, but the game is still in development, and will be released on PC and PS4.

The first game has been released in Japan—the game has already been released to the West, but only briefly. In the meantime, Croteam has been working on another big-budget shooter called The Crew.
