Redmond says that MMD is a "first-of-its kind" for enterprise

Redmond says that MMD is a "first-of-its kind" for enterprise administrators.

"With the MMD service, we're creating a second stage of IT that can be used for other business enterprises, too," Redmond says. "We're also enabling our OEMs to take a proactive role in the service and provide support on the devices that they have to use for their enterprise. If we are able to make a real, tangible difference that is tangible to customers at the end of the day, it could really change the way they think about enterprise."

Redmond has been working on this for eight years, and says that it's been the number one priority of Microsoft. He says that Microsoft has been very proactive on its support for MMD, which will help to get enterprise administrators to adopt it.

"As we have in our previous service, we've been able to give customers a first-hand look at what MMD is doing and how it could be utilized in a number of ways," Redmond says. "There are lots of ways that MMD could be used within their system, and also we've been able to give them a tool that they'd never have thought of otherwise. We're working very hard to get the right hardware for their devices that's the right fit. Our first step is to get manufacturers to adopt it and get our engineers in the right place to make it work. We've had the opportunity to get into the hardware segment and start to get into the software segment, and that's what we've been doing. We're working really hard to make it work for us."

With a major update coming to the Enterprise Mobility product line, Redmond is excited to deliver the next generation of Microsoft Azure and Windows Azure. Redmond says that the new Azure service will give the company a powerful platform for cloud deployments, as well as a platform for a "new kind of IT ecosystem": the enterprise enterprise.

"It's a major step forward in our new enterprise IT ecosystem. The enterprise enterprise is a powerful platform for data centers and data centers, and the enterprise enterprise is a great way to bring customers more of the benefits of Microsoft's Azure in one place. That is a strong, attractive platform for enterprises," Redmond says. "Our goal, though, is to make sure that MMD is at the heart of the Microsoft Azure business ecosystem."Cleveland Cavaliers guard Kyrie Irving, who has been ruled out until the end of the month with a concussion, was also asked on Monday about
