Of course, we wanted to make sure that the experience

Of course, we wanted to make sure that the experience of buying or using an Amazon Echo Dot was as enjoyable as we can, so that's what we've done: we've put together a list of all the Alexa plug-and-play products that CES will have to announce this year. We've also used the product listings provided by Amazon to help pick the most exciting Amazon Echo Dot products.

Now let's take a look at last year's list.

In its first year, Amazon Echo Dot reviewed the $699 version of the Echo Dot. The Echo Dot, like the Echo, is a high-end voice-controlled device that can be paired with an Android or iOS app to work together. It's a smart speaker, but it's not as high-end as the Echo Dot, and the fact that it's smaller than the Echo Dot's standard speaker does something to that. There's a small number of Alexa devices that look great, but you'll find those on sale this year that have a bigger battery capacity in the center of the screen rather than on a larger, higher-resolution speaker. There's also a little bit of a lag when talking in the Echo Dot's built-in microphone, so it can't be used until after the Echo Dot is connected to an Android smartphone.

The first time we read about this particular model being launched, we had no idea it was going to be the Amazon Echo Dot. But we were excited about the promise of this device, and we were surprised by how well it could handle the demands of the office, so we're excited to see how things go with this model this year. The Echo Dot costs around $799, and there's no better way to spend your money than by buying one of the three devices at Amazon.com, which means that if you're a fan of the $599 Echo Dot, you're looking at a lot more than the basic $699 device. We also found that this model also has an excellent software suite to run on a Chromebook, so it's worth noting that the Echo Dot hasn't run the Google Home integration that we've been looking for.
