Noble's initial proposal was to build a 1,000mph track, which would be followed by a 400mph track in the back of the aircraft, with the final stretch of the motorway being set at around 2,500m.

The idea was to use a similar track to the Hakskeenan, but the road was not as safe as the Hakskeenan, so Noble proposed a different layout to the one used by Thrust 2. This was the last phase of the Hakskeenan, and then the UK government decided to abandon the project after it failed in its test on the Hakskeenan.

A year on and the SSC has been on the road for more than a year, and it will be interesting to see how the UK-based project evolves. I hope that we can learn from past success, and that it is not too late to act.I am using the "Dota 2: Modern" API to download and manage maps in Dota 2. If you are using an older version of Dota 2 and don't have the latest version installed, please see the "Dota 2: Modern" API instructions.

The first step with Dota 2 is to download the Dota 2: Modern patch. (You can download an updated version from the Dota 2 wiki.) To do so, use the "dota2_modern.exe" menu item in the main menu (or the "Dota 2: Modern" folder). The Dota 2: Modern patch is downloaded and installed using the "dl" command on your computer (usually on your PC). To download the patch, visit http://www.dl.dropbox.com/u/8342958/dota2_modern.exe .

If you don't already have the Dota 2: Modern application installed on your computer, you can download it from the Dota 2: Modern website (the Dota 2: Modern version is available from the Dota 2 website, if you haven't already). You can also use the "Dota 2: Modern" folder on your Dota 2 computer to install the Dota 2: Modern patch. A screenshot of the Dota 2: Modern patch is available, showing the patch in action.
