Microsoft has been working on updates to Windows 10 for more than a year now. It's long since made its first big move to Windows 10 Mobile, but the company has always maintained that it was ready for the market to see the platform at its most mobile, with Windows 10 Mobile running on ARM chips, with Windows 10 Mobile launching on mobile devices around the world in the fourth quarter of 2017.

Microsoft is still working on security patches for Windows 10 Mobile, however, and it's still evaluating how long to continue to work on those patches and build upon them to make the upgrade process as seamless as possible.

The company has already confirmed that it will be making further incremental updates to Windows 10 Mobile in the spring. In the meantime, developers will be able to enjoy Windows 10 Mobile without having to worry about security updates from Microsoft. Microsoft has already made significant progress on making Windows 10 Mobile more stable, and the company has already released all the security fixes it plans to implement for the Windows 10 Mobile operating system, including an update to the Coreboot.

With the release of Windows 10 Mobile, Windows 10 Mobile users will be able to see the entire operating system, plus all of the features and applications it will be releasing.

Microsoft has been working on its transition to Windows 10 Mobile for a long time. It has been working on the platform, and the Windows 10 Mobile team made significant progress on a comprehensive transition that will allow Windows users to get into the mobile operating system without having to worry about security updates from Microsoft. Since it's only a matter of time before a major update is issued, Windows 10 Mobile users can get a glimpse and experience what Windows 10 Mobile is capable of, from the Start screen to the Start menu.

Windows 10 Mobile will be released on December 10, 2020.
