Long's team examined the human brains in a variety of conditions, including autism, bipolar disorder, and schizophrenia. They compared the brains of a healthy adult male with an ADHD patient with symptoms similar to those of autism, and compared the brain of a 23-year-old woman with symptoms similar to those of bipolar disorder. In particular, they found that the brains of both individuals had similar activity in the frontal cortex, the part of the brain associated with reward, which is involved in reward and attention.
Long's study also found that the amygdala, a part of the brain associated with emotional regulation, also showed the same activity in the brain of a normal patient—the part of the brain associated with emotion regulation. Moreover, they found that the same frontal cortex was activated in the brain of a 43-year-old woman with symptoms similar to those of bipolar disorder, which means it may be a candidate for the same neural pathways in these individuals.
The study was funded by the National Institute for Aging and the European Research Council. The study also was supported by the National Institutes of Health and the Rockefeller Foundation.

Trump's past financial dealings, including his relationship with Goldman Sachs, his relationship with his then wife, Melania, and his business dealings in the real estate industry, are among many that are still subject to examination. These include his dealings with the Trump Organization, his relationship with the Trump Organization's lawyer Marc Kasowitz, his relationships with Ivanka Trump (who is not related to Trump, but who is related to an adviser to Ivanka), his conflicts of interest in her husband's business dealings, and his ties to Russian interests.
Stavridis explains that Mr. Trump's business relationships with the Trump Organization and his business dealings with his then wife, Melania Trump, and her family are among some of which are still subject to examination. These include his dealings with the Trump Organization, his connection with the Trump Organization's lawyer Marc Kasowitz, his ties with Ivanka Trump, and his ties to Russian interests.
This is all well and good but in fact it is also a huge deal. For example, Stavridis writes:
At the time of his election campaign, Mr. Trump's financial disclosures showed a net loss
