LG's brand new 12.7-inch laptop is also the company's first

LG's brand new 12.7-inch laptop is also the company's first foray into the ultrabook world. It's a 16-inch laptop that looks more like an 8-inch laptop, but the company is keeping it a little different. It has a screen size of 18.4-inch, and it comes with a 5.7-inch touchscreen that's not as sharp as the original LG, which has a 1.8-inch display. The 13,8-inch model also has a touchpad with a small 3.9-inch touchpad. The 13-inch model has a 5.3-inch touchscreen and the 13-inch version has a 4.8-inch touchscreen. I'm not sure we'll see many more of these ultrabooks in early 2017, but it seems like LG just wants to get their act together and show off the new 13-inch LG Gram.

If you're interested in getting your hands on LG's new 13-inch Chromebook Pixel, here's the Acer Chromebook Pixel XL, which it's not releasing yet.

Update: Acer has announced a new Chromebook Flip, which it calls the "Nordic" in the new MacBook line. I'll update this post if I get more information about the Chromebook Pixel XL, which comes in a "Nordic" form. This is what happened on Monday (Oct. 5) at the University of Oregon, where an open letter to Chancellor Eugene Pritzker is scheduled to be delivered to members of the media as part of a student protest.

On Friday, the student group, Oregonian, announced their intentions to hold a sit-in in the University of Oregon for a week, but that is not a scheduled event.

According to the Oregonian's website, the group plans to hold a "campus-wide protest in the fall" that runs through Oct. 15, with a march ending at 2 p.m. and a march through the university grounds at 2:30 p.m.
