It all began when they were still teenagers, living in
It all began when they were still teenagers, living in a small town in the Pacific Northwest. We began filming in February of 2011 when I was in middle school when we started reading about the Walking Dead. They knew it was going to be a show that would have a real impact on the audience, and we were already well into filming when you could see all of that happening. We'd been talking to one other group of friends about the show, and they were about to open a new studio for the next few seasons, and Katarina was in the process of opening that studio to me. I went in and met her there, and we took a walk through the woods and just started talking about that.
I think it was around January before we started shooting that we decided to call it a shoot because it was the most important piece of feedback we could get from all of us because we knew we needed to be able to show how to create a real-life experience for our audience. We were still looking for a place for our character to live in, and we wanted to make sure that in that space we could actually make it. There was only one film we were interested in doing, and we were actually looking for a filmmaker who could really help us make this happen. Josh and I had come up with this idea when we were still teenagers, that it would be our first film together. So we put together a couple of friends who were from Berg's family, and we had been collaborating since before we'd started filming, we'd talked about what we would do with this project, and we knew we were going to have to do it. We started to get more and more excited about the idea that we'd be able to have a real family experience for our audience, but if we could do it together, it would be great.
Now that we hadn't really taken the time to find one of our own, we started to work on a few projects, where we'd be doing different things with different characters to make the story more consistent. One of them was a family-friendly family-friendly family-friendly romance novel that we were doing in the early '90s with one of the writers, and we decided it was time to start writing that. We started doing that one after the fact because we really wanted to just be able to tell what a family is like for us, and what a family feels like for our characters, but that didn't mean that
