In the wake of a critical bug in our Harmony
In the wake of a critical bug in our Harmony Hub, we've released a firmware update for the Harmony Hub that addresses this security vulnerability. We've tested this firmware update to ensure that it is the only way to control your connected home automation system. We've made improvements to our Harmony Hub and the Harmony Hub Remote to ensure it works as intended. We're still open to any new users who want to take action to prevent their connected home automation devices from interfering with their smart home devices. We have also made improvements to our Remote to ensure Harmony Hub and the Harmony Hub Remote work as intended.
In other news, Logitech also announced a new "Voice Control" feature for your Harmony Hub, which means it will allow you to control everything from your phone and the Echo speaker to the SmartThings app and other apps.
More information on the firmware update can be found here.
The Harmony Hub is scheduled to ship with 4.15.206, which means it should be available for the next four weeks. We'll update you on when they make a official announcement as soon as they do.As the US Department of Homeland Security and the FBI have been working together to figure out where the gunman was, the FBI still doesn't know where he was.
According to Politico, the FBI has yet to get an answer on "who-had-that" because of some of the other questions being asked. In an effort to "clear the air" of the question, the agency has also asked the National Association of Secretaries of State, FBI Director James Comey's office, and the Justice Department to put together a public statement.
The National Security Letter, which also was released by the government, states about "the suspect's criminal contacts with foreign governments, including Saudi Arabia, which is a close ally of the United States."
