In the video below, Facebook is shown saying how its Onavo Protect app is intended to prevent users from sharing important information about a user's online habits. Onavo Protect is said to block "any other type of information" from sharing in case it gets compromised or it is used by an unauthorized third party.

While Onavo's privacy policy does say that users can't share this data with their friends or family, In the video, Facebook is seen using an automated program to check the status of Onavo Protect's privacy settings. It claims that Onavo Protect will block any other kinds of information, such as personal information, from sharing on Facebook.

After Facebook's move to remove Onavo Protect on the iPhone, the company had to look around the company's internal systems.

"We have been on the radar of some of our partners and we are looking at ways to improve them and protect our data," Facebook said in a statement. "We continue to monitor all aspects of our system to help ensure that we are taking the best possible action to protect our users' privacy and our data needs."DETROIT - A Detroit man who was shot outside a Detroit-area gas station in March 2013 said he is "a good guy" and he's "a good citizen."

"I have a job and a family," Jeffrey C. Kaczynski said. "It's up to the police to do their job."

The 22-year-old from Detroit was shot and killed April 23, 2013, in his garage, according to Covington police. He told police he was driving east on Michigan Avenue when he heard a man yelling and saw Kaczynski running through the parking lot and then out of the car, police said. He said he opened up in front of the gas station and saw two men in an SUV, one with a gun and the other with a gun.
