In the meantime, Musk has built some of the Model

In the meantime, Musk has built some of the Model 3's most impressive cars, like the highly anticipated Tesla Roadster and its next-gen Model S. But his most surprising accomplishment — even to the Tesla community (which is all ears) — is his willingness to go on any given ride and take a quick selfie with it. So he's doing it, so good.

It's not all about the fact that he's a dick. For the past year, he has been on it because he loved Model 3s, and is eager to get them to market. He knows how to drive a Model 3, and he knows how to drive it, and he's a dick, too.

For one, he's no longer an outlier: in 2015, he was the only person in the world who, even when he wanted to, was still driving a Model 3. He got the Model 3 the week after the Tesla Model 3 hit market, and then he wanted to take it to market on the second weekend in July, not just with the Model 3 but the Model S and the Model 3 XL. If the Model 3 didn't take off this Wednesday, the Model 4 would.

The next couple of weeks are going to be tough, and Musk is working on the Model 5. The Model 5 is going to be a beast. On Oct. 12, the first day of the Model 3's rollout, Musk revealed on Facebook that he had completed the first test drive of the car's design, and the prototype was ready for testing.

Musk made it clear that he had an open mind on the design, and it's not a surprise that he's taken to wearing a large helmet next to his head in response to the questions about the design of the next-gen Model 3. "I'm happy to be a man who believes in open doors," he wrote in the post. "A helmet isn't going to cut it, it's going to take it all."

It's an incredible idea. But at the same time, it's a little unclear why Musk chose to wear a helmet. The helmet design is a very controversial subject. Many people believe he's a coward because he's seen his share of accidents. And in the past, he has been criticized for wearing a helmet (though he says he wears a helmet because he's a businessman and for being so self-effacing). But with the unveiling of the Model 3, Musk has taken to wearing a helmet and making a point of doing so
