In the interview, Shaw reveals why he decided to create

In the interview, Shaw reveals why he decided to create Manh(a)ttan.

"I've always been a fan of the stories of people's lives. I love when a story just happens and you're just like, 'Wow, that's really interesting,'" Shaw told Ars.

While many of the main characters of Manh(a)ttan are familiar, he doesn't share many of their unique personalities.

"I've always been a fan of the stories of people's lives. I love when a story just happens and you're just like, 'Wow, that's really interesting,'" Shaw explained. As a result, the series was canceled at the last minute.

Shaw continued, "I'm not sure why they canceled the series. It was a bit of a disappointment and I don't know whether it was because they thought it was too ambitious, it was too much of a big deal or why they thought it would be so different. I mean, I guess there's some things you can do. It's been a lot of fun and some of the things that they were able to do and did in the past were very, very different, and I'm not sure why they cancelled it. But that's what's happened. It's not the same as why they canceled the first episode. I think that it's been a lot of fun and a lot of fun to shoot with. It's kind of funny because I think the idea of that was the idea of doing a show that's a story about how do we start a society as a society and that's something I feel like I've always been interested in doing. It's something that I've always had an interest in doing.

"I think that's the same thing as I always wanted to do. It's all about creating interesting and compelling stories, and that's why I wanted to do Manh(a)ttan. And it's not like I wanted to create the series. That's all it is. I've been working hard on it. It's been really fun to shoot but I didn't have to do any of that before. It's just a very simple story that I'm going to do. You're looking at the first episode and I'm not going to tell you anything you don't already know. I'm just going to go through it and tell you what I think the story is going to be about. I just want to tell you what I think you're going to see and I think
