(Image credit: The Verge)I'm looking for new volunteers. I'd like to help find some new members for this project. I've been using and getting better at Python programming. I can't wait to get started with it - I'm looking for volunteers who can contribute to this project. I want to see some great things happen in the future! It's been a long and winding road for the NHL's top talent. The likes of Jason Chimera, Connor McDavid, Mike Richards and Brandon Pirri will all be eligible to play in the NHL next season, but the club could be looking to add more to the depth of the roster if the team stays in the postseason.

The Philadelphia Flyers, who have been searching for a top-four defenseman since their first round pick in 2003, could be looking for a top-six defenseman this season.

Mitch Marner, who played alongside Sidney Crosby and Patrick Kane during his stint with the Pittsburgh Penguins, has been traded to the Philadelphia Flyers for defenseman Josh Harding. Harding, who has played 13 straight seasons with the Flyers, has been in Philadelphia this season with both Norris Trophy winners and Norris Trophy winners. The Flyers have one of the best depth in the league, and the team's best goalie.

The Flyers also have two players who should be in the lineup for the playoffs: Alex Gelinas, who has been a key addition to Philadelphia and has appeared in five playoff games for the Flyers this season, and Nicklas Backstrom, who has appeared in three playoff games.

The Flyers also might be looking to keep forwards Michael Grabner and Andrew MacDonald out of this year's game after they missed a chance to sign veteran defenseman John Tavares this offseason.

The Flyers were hoping to sign defenseman Nathan Beaulieu and defenseman Kevin Shattenkirk last summer after the Flyers lost their top defensive prospect to the Boston Bruins. The Flyers also had a $15.4 million contract and a $10.9 million buyout in the 2012-13 season.

Here are five prospects that should be added this season for the Flyers:

Nathan Beaulieu, 17, is a six-foot-4, 185-pound center who has appeared in 16 games with the Flyers this season. He has had six goals and seven assists in 11 career NHL games.

Nikita Soshnikov, 18, was drafted by the Flyers with the fifth overall
