I don't have time to write about the headphones in
I don't have time to write about the headphones in my blog before I'm out of the house and out to the local Starbucks, but they're pretty interesting.
Amazon offers a similar set of headphones for sale in the U.S.
I've been a big fan of Amazon's Alexa voice assistant, and this is a little bit of a departure from what I've heard from Amazon itself. I've tried it for several days and am always happy to hear it work and don't have anyone else who's bought the other headphones. Amazon's Echo unit, which is the same price as the Bose headphones, is a very different sound system.
And even if you don't use Amazon Alexa, you might want to check out the Bose's wireless headphones in your home. A Bluetooth headset for Amazon isn't exactly a big deal, but it will probably make your voice easier to hear. Google is also bringing a Google Assistant that lets you search for Google Maps and Google Play Store on your phone, but it's really not a big deal. The Google assistant has no built-in microphone like Google's, but Google knows how to get around it if you're using the Google Assistant in your home.
I've also been a bit curious to see how different of a voice assistant could be used for real world tasks. The Bose headphones' voice-activated voice controls are more like the Xbox Kinect, but with Cortana and the ability to speak to Siri from the Windows 8 console, you can easily use the voice assistant just like you just can with the other Bose headphones.
I've heard that the Bose headphones are only compatible with Amazon Echo, though. Amazon has announced that they'll use Alexa to let you see what the Amazon Echo is doing in your home.
