For the Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3, the program is similar. The program is designed to allow users to stream games via their "Xbox 360" Xbox 360 console on a tablet.
As a result, users can stream games from their own Xbox 360 console without having to download the program. While that doesn't mean the Xbox 360 is bad for gamers, it does make it easier for people to download games on their handheld devices. And for those gamers that aren't as familiar with the program, you can download the program from the Steam Home page.
With a beta version of the program being available now, it's looking like it's going to be pretty useful to people who aren't as familiar with the program. According to Steam's blog posts, it's possible to "stream all your favourite games using the Program's Streams feature." If you're worried about whether you're getting your hands on the program, you're in luck.
In a later blog post, Valve states that the program will be available to all Steam users in the coming weeks, including those who are running Steam at home. In the meantime, it's good to see that the streaming options are relatively straightforward.
And if Valve does release any streamers in the near future, it certainly looks like it's making things a little better for both those who are looking for something a little more portable and those who don't enjoy having to download the program.
