Even some of these reports may be overblown. Even if you don't use Face Unlock, you may still be able to get into trouble. While it's possible your iPhone and Android phone may be the only ones you want to get into trouble with the unlock feature, Samsung has some plans in mind for protecting its users. Last year, Samsung introduced a "face-lock" feature in its Smart Watch that could prevent users from unlocking their phones when they want. One of the more popular ways to take control of your phone is by locking it, even when there's nothing else to turn on. But, the problem isn't just Samsung's Face Unlock. It also includes more devices that aren't compatible with this feature. It looks like Samsung's plans are coming to include some other options that aren't compatible with Face Unlock.

The resolution, which passed with 66 votes, will go into effect on April 1, 2017, following the November election.
Some of the council members who supported the resolution, like city councilman Dave Kukowski, were opposed to the move by the mayor who has been vocal about the issue in recent months.
Kukowski said that he had not been consulted about the resolution, which he believed was in line with state law.
"We have not been in the conversation. We don't know," Kukowski said. "We didn't have any input from the members. We've been asking the council and the city of New York State what they had to say on this."
"I think it's important to recognize that there are a lot of people that would be very concerned that this initiative is being used in a way that violates the rights of the residents of the city," Kukowski said.
The marijuana dispensaries, which are closed to the public on May 19 and December 7, are operated by dispensaries that are now operating in certain neighborhoods at the behest of the Department of Health. This article originally appeared on VICE.
