But more importantly, there's potential for an Apple event next year, too, with the iPhone 6 and 6 Plus launching on May 20th and the upcoming iPad Pro and iPad mini available to preorder on December 9th. For this reason, there's no guarantee it will be an event this year. For the next four years, the iPhone 6 and 6 Plus will be available in a variety of media formats from the big three, including a redesigned iPad Pro. The release of the 6 Plus is a new way for Apple to bring the iPad Mini to the home theater, and it's an exciting time for the company. In its first year, the 6 Plus will be available for pre-order to pre-order from the Apple Store, offering an even better experience. The new iPad Pro, however, was launched in late 2013, and it's a new way for Apple to bring the iPad Mini to the home theater. But with the iPad Mini as part of the new lineup, and the iPad Pro coming to the Apple Store in early 2016, there's a good chance that a new event will take place next year.

That's why at some point, the first- or second-party media event (pre-orders for the two new models) will begin. Apple has announced plans to launch a new media-centric event, the "New Media Fest," which will take place on August 25th and 26th. It will be a series of events that focus on Apple's new apps and devices: Apple says it will offer free Apple Music subscriptions for people to download.
