Tesla's self-driving capabilities are far more complex than it appears at first glance. As the company explains on its website, the autonomous driving technology is "driven by a small set of sensors that can sense the car's surroundings, the driving behavior and other information that the driver can use to choose between a safe, safe and safe driving position."
The company says that when you take the car's steering wheel and your car's accelerator settings, which control steering and braking, the sensors "can detect when a vehicle is at a high risk of accident."
The company's software also makes a decision based on the car's "vehicle safety" rating. A higher rating means the car will automatically take control and steer to the right, while a lower rating means the car will keep the left and right in alignment.
Tesla's autopilot is a bit of a mess. It's not entirely clear how much of an improvement (or cost) it would make to the car's driverless program. But, as we've seen in the previous two years, self-driving cars like the Tesla Model S and the Ford Fusion are probably already on their way to make the road a lot safer.
Update: Tesla confirmed Wednesday morning that its self-driving capabilities were still "in development," and that it would be working on improving it.
Image via Flickr user rp_m_h/FlickrIt's been nearly a year since our last post about the new Samsung Android 7.1 Nougat flagship phone. Now, the new device is rolling out with a brand new feature. The feature is called "Swipe" and you can do any gesture when going from the menu to the "Tap" option of the home screen. The new feature may change a lot for some phones, it doesn't require you to do anything on your device, but it could be the beginning of a new trend that we have been seeing over the past couple of years.
In this post, we will share some of the new features Samsung has introduced to their latest Android 7.1 Nougat phone. We hope you enjoy using the new feature, so let us know what you think in the comments!
