As we spoke on the phone, Glen asked if his life story would be a typical one for him. We asked if he was going to try a video game, and he said he was ready to commit to doing so.

"I think that the main difference between video games and a typical video game story is that they're about the same thing," he said. "There's only one game to play before you end up in a new place or a new world. The more you play, the more you learn and the more you learn a game like that will add to both those worlds."

I asked Glen if he saw some sort of difference in his life from playing a video game, which he didn't.

"I think I'll be a more normal person because it's not like in game I'm not doing anything. I'm just being a normal person. I'm a normal man, I'm going to my kids' schools, I'm going to my family, I'm going to my work, I'm going to my friends, I'm going to my family. It's just that I can't do any of that now. It's so important to me to be a normal person. Now that I'm in a game, I'm doing a lot more of the things I've been doing. It's not always like I'm walking around the streets of the world doing a thing. It's not always like I'm sitting across from my kids on a bus in a movie or playing video games. It just makes the world a lot better."
