Apple released an update yesterday for iOS 12.1.2, and a few new features include a new call feature and a new call icon for incoming calls.

And it includes a new call icon that's a little different from the one on iPhone XR and iPhone XS Max.

"This update is a first for iOS 10. Use the iPhone XR to get notified whenever your call takes place on the iPhone XR," Apple wrote in a blog post. "You can also use the call icon on your iPhone XS to hide your call icon if you're going to be in a certain area."

That's good news for the millions who use their iPhones for calls, but it's not enough for everyone.

Apple's not stopping there, though. It's also doing some other updates for the iPhone XR and iPhone XS Max.

For example, the update includes a new call icon for "callers" and a new call icon for incoming calls. But it also includes a bug fix for an app that can't respond correctly to calls from other iOS devices.

And it includes a bug fix for a bug in the security feature that causes iPhone XS to turn off or start the camera when the phone is connected to a Wi-Fi network.

The update also comes with the first iPhone XR or XS Max support.

There's been an increase in phone battery savers and other performance-related issues on the iPhone X, but the update's only significant news so far has been on Wi-Fi.

Now we're looking at a more widespread update to the iPhone XR or XS Max on Friday, February 24, in the form of iOS 10.2. The update will have the ability to turn off or start the camera on the iPhone XR or XS Max.

If you've got a little more time for that, you can snag a sneak peek at iOS 10.2.

Now, let's take a look at some of the big news.
