Apple is still working on a way to make Face

Apple is still working on a way to make Face ID work with iOS 12, but there's reason to believe it might be possible. The company recently announced that it had acquired the iPhone maker's video-sharing app iMessage, which means it's trying to get this software on the iPad Pro. According to Gartner, this has raised the question of whether or not Face ID and iMessage should interoperate.

At this point, it sounds like a big deal. Apple currently has its own Face ID technology, which is currently being used in some of its iPhones. While it is something that Apple has been working on for a while, its software doesn't seem to work well with iPhones. In fact, it is unclear if iOS 12.1 will actually allow this to happen.

Apple's Face ID software is not yet officially released, though it is expected to be released later this year. It would make sense, given Apple's penchant for creating new features to try out.

The fact that iOS 12.1 is about making sure Apple can be as transparent as possible means that developers will have a lot to learn over the coming weeks about the new hardware. As always, be sure to follow us on Twitter or subscribe to our RSS feed.

Update: Apple finally gave me the heads up about the new iOS 12.1 beta. They've also announced their plans for beta testing.

Update 2: We also reached out to Apple for comment about the iOS 12 beta. We'll update this post if and when we hear back. It's been a while since the last time we've seen this amazing series of books… but here's a big one!
