Apple has been trying for a while to bring 5G

Apple has been trying for a while to bring 5G to the masses. The CEO's team has been working to create a faster and more accurate wireless network, and while the company has made some progress, it seems it is just waiting for the right moment to step inside its platform and make the biggest leap in the mobile space. For all the talk about Google Play Music, Apple Music, and Spotify, it turns out that we're still in the early days of the service. According to Bloomberg, "The service has grown to over 1.3 million accounts by March 31, 2011, and has grown to 1.4 million by March 31, 2012." According to the company, Apple Music is responsible for "more than $1 billion in digital revenue." But, as far as we know, Apple Music isn't even the biggest hit on the service's growth.

And, as Bloomberg reports, "Apple has also been making substantial efforts to expand the business, which it has been doing via acquisitions and other avenues. Apple has been the biggest beneficiary of a $200 million investment by Apple Music to expand its services and support more than 100,000 U.S. users, the company said."

Apple grew from about 4.3 million account users in 2006 to about 7.8 million in 2010 and now has 1.4 million. The company's growth in 2010 was a 6.8 percent increase." And, of course, the iPhone is now the world's biggest smartphone, and that's all because of the iPhone 5S. Apple Music now has over 2 million more accounts than Spotify and Pandora combined.

While the news of iOS 3.0 is promising, it's really good news for Apple Music. The company said in a blog post that it has more than 1.4 million subscribers (which, at this point, is just under 1 percent of its total users) and that its total numbers are expected to be closer to that of Spotify and Pandora. It also mentioned that Apple would use "to better manage and control its music library, and create a platform that will be more secure," and "will expand its catalog to include more genres, to increase the number of artists we have available to our customers."

According to Forbes, Apple Music is also "the most popular music
