And that's before you even consider the fact that the deal with Steam will affect some of the more popular games, like Skyrim, that didn't make the top 10 on Steam. While many other high-quality, high-quality games could receive better deals from the Epic Games Store, Skyrim will make the list overall, despite its price.

The same goes for the other top-rated titles Steam is seeing (including Skyrim), like Dragon Age: Inquisition and Far Cry 3. Even though those are on Steam, it's still a $60 price cut to the top-rated games that Valve has been making.

But as we've noted before, the Epic Games Store offers one more important reason to buy games on the Epic Games Store: It's a place where fans can get games they're excited about to play when they're not actually playing them. And so even if you were to pick a Steam title and pay $60 for that title, you could still get that game for free.

And that's the reason why we want to make it clear that the Epic Games Store's prices won't be going up anytime soon. But as we've noted before, if you're a fan of games that are just on Steam, then you'll want to take advantage of them right now.Still loading...
