Although the Kazakh launch company hasn't announced any plans to launch a new rocket into space, Nurkenov suggested that a launch date for the first Kuznetsov rocket is near 2020.
"If the Russian government wants to launch an orbital rocket, we will discuss it," he said.
The official Russian news agency YTN said that the launch of the Kuznetsov rocket is due to be made in June of this year, and that the new rocket would be expected to be ready by the end of May of this year. This means that, in the next few years, this new rocket has been tested and tested to a high standard.
