1. Dead Space: The Beginning: A Game That's Still Just A Dream (Pentium Press)

The first game in the Fallout franchise will be announced in a few days. Dead Space: The Beginning's Kickstarter campaign had raised more than $1 million—$837,000 by the time I was there—and it was already well on its way to making more than $10 million for the game's developer, Mojang, with its $10 million pledge. You'll also get to pick up a few exclusive Fallout-related games: Fallout 3 and Fallout: New Vegas expansion packs, including one featuring Vault Hunter's new outfit, a new Fallout: New Vegas character model, and a new Fallout: New Vegas companion, Dead Space: The Beginning's first appearance in the game.

But even that doesn't mean it's as good as we like it. The first half of the campaign is only $30 (including shipping), with only four expansions to go and a few extras still on the way. It's hard to judge the game's worth while as most of the games are still in development, and if you look closely behind the scenes, you'll notice that many of those games are being sold as free DLC rather than free-to-play, giving the game just such a good looking look.

1. Dead Space 1: The End of Faith: A Game That's Still Just A Dream (Pentium Press)

The first game in the Fallout franchise will be announced in a few days. The studio's Kickstarter campaign had raised more than $1 million (including shipping), but one of the biggest surprises of the campaign—the first ever Fallout game—took the game by storm. In short, Dead Space: The End of Faith is only going to be an extremely limited-edition title, and when it comes to its new, free-to-play counterpart, we're left with this question: Has Dead Space: The End of Faith been the best Fallout game of the last few years?
